My grandma turned 92 today. Mom took her on tuesday to the casino for her birthday. Gram had her up to 3 AM running the slots.

Saw the HP movie today and finished the book but more on that tomorrow.

evil_little_dog and I made the 2000 word count for Red Skies and have move on to next week's lower word count

Happy birthday, Grandma! Whoohoo! If only we all got to live that long and that strong :)

Oh, and the 'rough' of your NBR story is marvelous and ready for prime time (in my opinion at least). I really liked it.

and thank you very much. Were the odd terms like Autumn Lands and Irin and Soul Reavers at all confusing since i didn't explain them much

They weren't confusing at all - they just seemed like background sketches, like something we just hadn't seen yet. A transporter of souls isn't expected to color in only the visible or known lines. I felt they added some depth, interest and mystery - and made me want to read/find out more!

oh good, that really helps. I worried about that. Its so hard in a short story to deal with stuff like that without bogging it down
