Like Christmas in....September...
Sep. 10th, 2007 05:38 pmFirst all the cool stuff came over the weekend and today, I got a book I was really looking forward to (On healing touch), the sheets and mattress pad got here (thank you UPS for leaving it on the door and NOT ringing and the touch of you pausing your cell phone call long enough to ask 'you ARE D-3, right?' was perfect) and of course the bed and MATTRESS!
Yay! It's soft. I can't wait to sleep on it. (pictures coming tomorrow)It does take up a little too much of the room (that's okay), it's pretty. It even has four posters (now to find the man to tie to it) Whee!
Downsides - while I got the old bed rails unscrewed (I believe women should have their own tools and have stocked the house accordingly) I don't have the strength to bull them apart. Gah! I need to get this down. Even if I were just hauling them to the dumpster, this is unwieldy. But I want to take them to Goodwil (they're in perfect shape)grrrr. Maybe I can drag it onto the porch when the neighbor men are out there and they can help.
Gave my first exam today and of course in their infinite wisdom campus computing removed the drive we use to run the scantron software...um dudes WHY? I mean just WHY? for the love of god, we need that. Supposedly things will be fixed by tomorrow. I Hope so. I'm giving another exam on Wednesday.

I am now jealous.
Also yay for new bed and boo to the lack of scantroning equipment. I used to love running stuff through the scantron machine back in high school. Once I got to college, the scantron tests stopped. And so did the easy ones. I wonder if there's a corrolation?
