Black Hawk didn't hate me. They DO want to do it smartly though, me dragging my ass to kinkos for a teleconference while I teach for 20 minutes to an empty room. I told them that the Kinkos DOESN'T have powerpoint. They don't seem to believe me (it really doesn't. Not ONE in 60 miles around Orlando has that capability. I know I've been down this road before. I'm not going to do it though. However job #2 in WI fell through so I have to be sure my parents are willing to help me or I may have to try this because I won't make enough teaching in WI to survive.

SHIT! Just realized I forgot to pay for my health insurance. Must get that 700$ check in the mail.

Went shopping today because I have no dress clothes to teach in. I haven't had casual dress clothes in 10 years since I wore surgical scrubs to see patients and not dress clothing (much more sanitary). I didn't find anything I liked (of course, it being tax free week in FL) but I'm in T.J. Maxx and I walk past clothing designed for girls 8-11 and they have gold and silver metallic panties. Excuse me? Is it horribly old fashioned of me NOT to want my little girl (should she exist) to be dressed up like a pedophile's wet dream? WHO buys hooker ware for their pre-pubscent girls?

Good news. Got the next chapter of Hyperion's Son done. As a teaser I offer you this, Angel gets beaten with a mace. Connor goes off to hurt himself.

This is probably a stupid question, but did you post the next chapter of Hyperion's Son yet? I know you said it wasn't ready for posting at the time of this post, but I've seen a couple of your other stories updated since then and I wanted to make sure I'm not missing it somewhere.

While I'm posting this, I also wanted to say that I really enjoy your writing. In general I'm not much of a reader, but someone recommended your Connor stories to me a while back and I enjoyed them so much that I've read some of the non-Connor stories too.

Cool I'm glad you liked them. I appreciate it. Ch 13 of Hyperion Son is in the edit stage and I hope to get it up shortly. CH 14 is still being written.
