I Have a Dream

Naturally school remembers Martin Luther King Jr day by taking the day off and I've been so busy making tests and lectures that I forgot entirely to blog about it.

And what is there for me to say. For all the problems we still have, they are nothing like it was less than fifty years ago. Without brave, intelligent compassionate men like this, where would we be?

Very true.

Because the college takes a day off, often I'm too focused on what that means to me personally (another day of weekend! score!) And not what it means in the larger context. (I watched Obama's MLKD speech and felt very virtuous for not giving it only a passing thought, like I usually do.)
