My job being announced as a tenure track position. It was taped to my chair as if to say APPLY NOW.

Which I will. I might bitch a lot about this area but you know what, if I get tenure here, I'll move into Athens and just make the 30 mile drive every day. Yeah it's a hassle but Athens has a life in it.

This takes off a lot of the pressure


now if only my stomach would stop with the nausea

A tenure position is fabulous! Especially since they let you know! I mean, telling you early that they are posting it is a subtle way of saying, "APPLY!!" :-D I hope that you get it... though I'd love for you to come out to York. Hey - one day you can come visit. We'll go to Hershey's outlet and buy the place out. Ha ha!

Hershey has totally redone Chocolate World - the ride through "How Chocolate Is Made" exhibit and attached a HUGE outlet full of choccies. Also, this is where you can purchase a TWENTY FIVE POUND CHOCOLATE BAR! You'd never need to buy chocolate again. :-D

i wish i knew the answer to that. I'm hoping just nervous
