speaking of gambling

Mom and I chose last night to gamble (I forgot to mention this) because Grandma (Ms I'm nearly 90 and can't stay home) went to Bingo. SHe called me to gloat today. SHe won 1000$.

AND my mom's brother and his wife were at the same casino we were in last night and we didn't see each other (that's saying something. My uncle's 6'5" he's hard to miss). He won nearly 4,000$

What did I say about my family being addicted to gambling?

I'm impressed. I don't gamble but most of the members of my husband's family gave a serious gambling jones.

One of my b-i=l's didn't come to my weding because he was running from the mob at the time. He owed his bookie 25 grand.

Yeah that's BAD. One of my fellow residents (an native NJ-er) was always calling his bookie in the doctor's break room. My family has included bookies. Me, I stick with slots. At least they won't come and take your thumbs

So true. I have no idea what his current gambling situation is, but my other 2 b-i-l play online poker a lot (which is also nuts, imo) and my m-i-l budgeted a hundred a week to lose at AC. She can afford it, so more power to her, but for me it's tossing money down the toilet.

Dont' touch online poker either. I go to a casino maybe 4 times a year with about 100$. My aunt and uncle are more like your m-i-l
