to see what it looks like. The answer is WHO THE HELL PUTS A COLLEGE WAY OUT THERE.

According to them, West Liberty State College is very pretty but atop a hill approachable only by a goat path unchanged since the days of the horse and buggy. It's the first college in WV (according to their site) so why all the way out there instead of nearer to the rivers who knows. So pretty but a death trap in the winter. How exciting.

mom is already annoying me about where i could live. Thank god it IS on a windy-ass road or they'd think i could live at home (does the words no way in hell have meaning?)

I went to West Liberty's website to see where it is... and on the front page, there is a photo of a group of students... some of whom are African American! And one couple in the photo is mixed race! WOW! That's really progressive for West Virginia! (I know. I'm from WV.)

Also, if it isn't an interstate, all roads in WV are windy-ass. Seriously. And you damn well better be able to drive 55 MPH on them, too, or you WILL get ran over. (Again, this is experience talking here.) Sighs.
