Left for Dead
Jun. 23rd, 2008 02:09 pmOr at least that's how I feel. I trundled out the door with four things to do A) go to the hospital for testing B) go to Wal-Hell C) go to office and recycle the trunk full of cardboard (seriously WHERE does all this come from?) and D) get Frontline for Roy.
Got to hospital, migraine bushwhacks me and leaves me for dead. At least they got my blood on the first stick. Not so with the X-ray of my hip. Guess I'm not as fat as they seemed to think since they overexposed the x-ray. This actually might be more sinus headache than migraine since lying down made it worse which i had to do twice thank you Radiology.
Glowing nicely in the dark, I head for Wal-Hell, buy plants I don't need, forget what I was there for..
Barely able to not get sick. Screwed off C & D and came home. Got sick. FOund out they FINALLY are working on my porch...all of our porches. No warning. My poor plants are all over the place. One of my windchimes is gone (it was on the porch railing). My nice silence is nothing but drills and hammering. So much for resting.
I have Roy grooving to the Hanuman Chalisa while I call Verizon to find out why my new plan is SO expensive (answer, i had to pay prorating for both plans in May and they bill a month ahead.) Bah, hate Verizon.
back to Summer of Giles story which will not write. Stabs it.
ETA- Holy Crap George Carlin died (and was younger than I thought...) I'll miss him

Date: 2008-06-25 09:19 am (UTC)When I get mine, I use 'headon' (that roll on stuff) on my forehead, temples and neck, a 'breathe right' and then usually try to down some kind of decongestant with an ibuprofen. That usually does the trick, but I always keep a few flexorils around just in case.
