why is it so delightfully cool outside and yet

hotter than hades in my place. I turned off the a/c and opened the windows but the air isn't moving in. Pouts. Never got our rain either.

However, it was cool enough for me to weed. I mean really weed. I have a stack of pulled up crap that's well above my ankles. There might be hope for the garden yet. I've set one solitary tomato (German Queen Heirloom), lots of gypsy peppers (never tasted them before, but hoping for the best since they'r prolific), three eggplant, beans growing all over, even that half dead watermelon is trying. The okra is just looking pretty with no flowers. Pokes it.

Got the first test of the summer ready for tomorrow. bwah ha ha

and Roy made his move toward retribution. When I was eating dinner he snuck into the forbidden bedroom and got up under the covers. brat. Also found out why he's so skinny. He hates 9 lives grilled tuna and egg. The neighbor gave me back the bag. Said he barely ate. I tried to mix it into the newer stuff and he spent the morning picking it out.

feeling very cranky because my sugar dropped again.

I can't grow something to save my life but I love to weed, especially in the rain. It's cleansing to go out there in a bathing suite and shorts and play with the dirt. :D
