It was very sad last night spotting Heath even before his face was shown to the audience. I've been watching his career since Roar in the 90's and didn't I feel like a dirty old woman back then lusting after that cute little boy.

THis wasn't the first time I've been to a midnight premiere of a movie for an actor who didn't live long enough to see it air. Back in the 90's I went to see Brandon Lee in The Crow and that was even more tragic, especially given that he died on set and the character was more or less the undead.


In less depressing geeky news, I stumbled across a mini marathon of Avatar: The Last Airbender Now I have never paid much attention to this since a) it's on Nickelodeon b) my 8 year old cousins and 'nephew' are into this and I figured it was a tad young for me c) i saw a few and didn't like the graphics.

evil_little_dog told me a week or so ago I should watch it because there is someone on there that was written for me. So I did that tonight while sucking down some dal makahani. Eyes bright, I found him fast, Zuko (i think). Moody asshat, sulky brat with daddy issues and can shoot fire? That is so my character. (said in at Stewie Griffin voice) It's like Connor Reilly and ROy Mustang had an unholy child. I didn't care for the water bender but i only saw about two hours worth of book three so...nothing like comng in in the middle.I put it in the netflix cue

And in more serious and disappointing news, one of my former coworkers emailed me today. She was a biochemist here and moved to Pittsburgh. Now she has a private prep school teaching job in MY speciality (and wanted my advice on what to do.) GIVE ME YOUR JOB. Gah, i must know where she looked to find this.

And Dear Ohio, you are a state. NOT the face of the sun. It was nearly 100 today. WTF was that about. You made me puke,no lie, puke. thanks for nothing summer.

WATCH MOAR AVATAR.

(That is my current fandom. It ends tomorrow, and I'm a little upset.) Either way, it's a fantastic show. I own Season 1 & 2 and I will own 3 by christmas.

Haven't seen Batman yet, sort of don't want to because my friend is being a bit too upset about the end. Also, I don't really like Batman. The only reason I would see it would be for Heath considering he was/is my inspiration...But Bruce Wayne just isn't my super hero flavor. (Explody Card-tossing Cajuns are my flavor.)

I was never a fan of the Batman comics. Imean if they were there I'd read them but I've always really liked the movies and Christian Bale does an amazing job.

As for Gambit, I was sorry they ended the X-Men before bringing him in. I love him

Bwahahaha! I can see Roy being Zuko's dad. *dies* Katara *water bender* can be obnoxious at times. I love Zuko, Iroh, Sokka, and Toph. Hell I even loved the bad guys of this series. I wouldn't have watched this show either if I hadn't been forced to at a friend's house.
