I know I've asked a similar question before but I'm looking for things that can happen to new parents with a six month old baby. I'm more looking for humorous here but trying helps. Poo stories I'm sure are a given.

My mother was changing a diaper and there was a little tiny brown spot on the diaper. A little shit, you might say. Without thinking she took her finger and wiped it off and inserted it into her mouth...then she realized what she did.

Sorry, missed this one the other day. I'm not really sure what you are after, so I'll go for general baby stuff. Well, the first thing that you think of is the sheer volume of things a small person will need. It's freaking unbelievable! By the time you've gathered up their buggy/pram, changing bag with half a ton of creams and lotions, not to mention the baby's wight in nappies, bottles and feed, toys, change of clothing… there's no room for anything else and I've probably forgotten something. If the parent then has to get anywhere - on the bus, go shopping - why are so many places up flights of stairs, anyway? Its not fun. If the mother is breast feeding, you have to find a discreet place to do it - and you'd be astonished at the number of men who are freaked by breastfeeding - and its really hard to ignore those awfully loud slurps…! A hungry baby will attempt to suckle on dad - any port in a storm, I suppose - and a teething baby will bite on anything it can get its mouth on. They will cry and fuss just when you've finally settled down…

Any help?

yep, thanks. actually Dad getting suckled on would probably work well right along with him whining about all the baby junk (this is 1920's tech era so he'd be trucking it by hand while pushing the pram)

1920's would mean no disposable nappies, and that means buckets all over the place with soaking terries. And then you've got to wash and dry them...
