I headed back to PA today. But first we had the insufferable humidity of doom move in. It really wasn't that hot today but so humid it felt way too hot. I get the mail, one single solitary piece, from the bank. Saying I'm past due 18$ on my 100$ loan. WTF? I don't HAVE a loan with them. It almost looks like one of those bank transfer things from savings to checking to cover a bounced check. my bank in florida called those 'loans' too. Thing is, I haven't bounced a check. Because the previous bank (it changed hands) didn't let you put direct deposit into savings, i have an ungodly amount of money in checking (because I'm dumb and forget to transfer it). Trust me when I say there was no way I spent it all. Even if I went on vacation I couldn't have spent it all.

I call the bank. They agree, I still have several grand in the bank. They have NO idea what this is about. The manager gets involved. Finally they give up saying it must be old and they'll dig it out. Good luck. I have never bounced a check or took out a loan Wesbanco. You're off to a lousy start and oh the bank manager I sat down to set up bill pay, the one I blogged about not wanting to do her job DIDN'T. She never pushed the paperwork through so national heard about that one.

So I got started for PA later than I wanted to. Just in time for that hot humid weather to mix with the cold in a dangerous way. I hit one blinding storm just outside of Athens but it was only for a mile or two (right in a construction zone) but by the time I was on 77 about 10 miles from 70 the emergency alert system breaks into the music and says tornados, nickle sized hail, severe storms, get inside and away from windows. Well hell. I'm in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do but go into the storm. Luckily it was just blinding rain (right in a construction zone again).

but at least I made it home and it's still very nice temperatures here. I'll get to sleep with it in the 50's with my windows open with no annoying 18 wheelers like home (which keep my windows shut since I can't sleep with the constant roar)









that's right I got a rare. the WEIRD thing, someone abandoned one that looked like this but it was green. I'm not sure if its the same dragon or not (I missed snagging it) since you only get egg color on abandons. But i think not since there is one that says spotted and warm and my spotted doesn't...hmmm. I'll be looking closely in there for more.
