Rot and Die. There was no reason to get infection but hey noproblem. I can't wait to start the new year with a rampaging sore throat and pain like my head is exploding not to mention the foul tasting goo running out of you.

On the up note i got another book case and new glasses and a pizza pan (and a spider) at Targets with my 10% off card. How all this stuff is fitting in my car...

How big is the spider? Sometimes things are afraid of spiders and they won't cuddle up together nicely if they aren't sure where a spider is or what it's doing or even if it's someplace close them. Maybe if you take the spider out everything else will fit in there better. ^_^

O ain't I funny

...you bought a spider?

Does that mean I should ship your Bday prezzie back to the apartment? Are you heading that way now?

When I was little, I thought that sinuses were some sort of weird organ that all that goo came out of, and I vowed one day to have surgery to get rid of it so that I would never have a stuffy nose again.

Then I grew up, took AP Biology, and learned that the sinuses are cavities around the middle front of your face and that when you get sick, the goo traps bacteria to get rid of them but doesn't always do the most efficient of jobs. Now I want them stuffed with cotton balls.

On a happier note, yay STUFF. And if it doesn't all fit, you can do like my parents did when I was 5, and buy a new TV, put all the seats down in the back just to fit it, and have me sit on top of the TV box during the 25-minute ride home. It involved some very complicated duck-and-cover procedures when police cars drove by, but at least we got the TV home in one piece. =)

I hate when that happens; you get something and you know it'll just look SO COOL in this ONE spot and then you get there and it's like, "Wait, where the hell's the spot?!"

Usualy for me that means tossing the old thing into the '4th bedroom of crap' and sticking the new thing in the spot. I'll worry about the old thing "LATER". :D

Me too. It's a hobby of mine, since I seem to attract crap to me. I don't even go BUY things, people just seem to think that I need things I've never even heard of. My grandmom once gave me a stuffed singing cow she got at an antique shop. She thought it'd look "cute" for my room. :3

I usually smile and put it somewhere visible until they leave, and then I stuff it in that dreaded 4th bedroom or I stick it in mom and dad's room in a totally inconspicuous place. Yep. The next day it's either back in my room or, as per the usual, I never see it again. Which if that's the case, I don't mind at all. :3

My HOUSE needs to go to Goodwill. Actually, we'll bring Goodwill to the house. They'll have a field day. And it's ironic because there's a collection place not more than 10 miles from my house. We used to go there all the time when I was little, mom and I always managed to find really cute things there.

It's NOT FUNNY. I'm serious. Roy and the kitten plushies have to occupy my bed during the day because I have no room anywhere else. Roy hates the cats, by the way, he wants the 'remotely-a-Black Hayate-lookalike' plush taking up the edge of my bookcase instead. I told him no, either he has kittens and the bed or the dog and the floor, since I can't fit anymore on the bookshelf. I haven't heard a complaint since. :3

are you sure it's not funny

From: [identity profile] hikari-katsuya.livejournal.com
Well yes, but not when you wake up to find said Roy plushie staring at you from the floor. That thing has an evil eye, I SWEAR IT DOES. I can't help if the kittens are more comfortable to sleep with. Or that he gets tossed off the bed. Or that I really don't have any sympathy when I wake up with Roy plushie underneath my chest. :3

Date: 2008-08-29 09:42 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] hikari-katsuya.livejournal.com
Yup yup; that plushie has been through so much crap, and I only got it in May. My one friend Stacey (who is also a huge FMA fan and doing NaNo, but for DBZ I think) likes to raid my house a lot and stay over, so we always play a lot of Wii because she doesn't have it (and is addicted to it so go figure :3). We camp out on the family room floor in front of the TV so I had already brought Roy down. She was sucking pretty badly at the bowling game we were playing, so in a burst of insanity I never want to see again creativity, she grabs the little thing and actually sticks it in the front of her tanktop, thinking it would bring her lots of luck. (I had actually been holding it when I scored 3 strikes in a row, so that's where the idea came from I think.) She ended up doing even WORSE, though, and poor Roy ended up head-first in the (fake) potted cactus by the bay window. He gets thrown around a lot, too, I've noticed...

poor Roy (though he would like to be face down in cleavage)

From: [identity profile] hikari-katsuya.livejournal.com
THAT is why I want a Riza plushie to go with him. (Stacey stuck him in her tanktop legs first, so maybe that's why she ended up losing even more.) I KNOW they exist, but until I live under a roof other than this one, I won't be buying anything off of Ebay/Amazon/Ebay Japan any time soon. I haven't seen her sold anywhere (actually, I've never really seen anime plushies anywhere, but Stacey got me Roy at Ebcott Japan when she went to Disney for Senior trip in May, so when I go I'm looking for a LOT of stuff), but I DO hope to find her someday. God knows Roy needs her around; he doesn't get any love from anyone else, it seems like. :3

I've never even seen a CON. D: I'll keep my eyes peeled next time I go to the bookstore, as I've never seen any there and the only time I HAVE seen them was at the Sam Goody Electronics in the mall, and now that's closed (God knows why, the store was a cash cow), and there's nothing really anime-oriented around, except for the manga sections of bookstores and the movie aisles in the FYE and the like. Shame shame. D:

One of my friends from school (who is an anime NUTCASE) went to Otakon down in Baltimore back in July. All of us are insanely jealous. He's bringing craploads of pictures for us to see when we go back to school on the 4th. He's not bringing anything he bought though; he says he's too afraid we'll run rabid with it all. :3

Nope, no they can't. He's not worried about the actual fangirling, per say, more that just we'll see something really cool and run away with it and he'll never see it again. :3

One of my friends (Stacey) might be tagging along with us, although it will be a big shell-out for both her AND us just to take her. Since it's government-sponsored ravel, the rates are less for the three of us, but Stacey's not gonna be so lucky. She'll have to start saving all her her paychecks REAKKY soon. :3

I wish I could do something like that. Mom would go to a con with me, but she'd probably be overwhelmed by the fangirls and lost in translations. She'd LOVE the cosplay though; she's a big fan of costumes and things. :3
