It's been wonderful temperatures the whole trip. Now that I'm going back and have to move two bookcases and several bits of arts and boxes of books by myself the temp has rocketed up FORTY degrees in just a few hours into the 90's. thanks for nothing.

See you in OH

See... [livejournal.com profile] cornerofmadness and I are having a feud about this. Everytime the temperature in Ohio goes up to normal, (like 90° It's August, okay?) she whines and cries about it. Every time it goes down way below normal, (like 65° and 70° It's not Early October, okay?) I bitch and moan. We would never get along in real life. If I were to visit her in summer, I think I might have to sleep on the porch in order to not freeze to death. If I were to visit her in Winter, I think I'd have to take an electric thermal sleeping bag and stay in it all the time. (and my bones would still ache and my ears sing, from not being warm enough.)

On that ear thing, it's definitely cyclic with weather that causes my arthritis to be unhappy with me. Is it possible to get arthritis in your inner ear bones? What the hell can you do about that? My regular joints at least it's less when I excercise adequately to keep from loosing my flexibility.. but what will I do about my ear? (and why ONE ear and not the other...)

Hehehe - I hear that from my friends all the time. Some wear sweaters and/or coats in our house during the warmer months. Needless-to-say, COM and I are alike in our love of cool, crisp air. My hub and I keep the AC on 65. Our heat seldom goes on - at the most, we put the heat on 60 (for baths and other naked activities).

don't think it's possible to get arthritis there but fluid changes with the barometric ones yes. Probably would feel the same.

and yes, yes you would. I'll be sleeping in a sheet with not much else if I were to truck to your place in the winter.

Yup. I'd probably turn the furnace down for you though, and just use my little space heater. (actually, most of the time in the winter, I stay holed up in my room, with my little heater and the furnace down at about 50°. I hate it, but I can't afford to pay the heating bills right now, and my space heater in one room uses less juice. I wore it out last winter though and now I have got to get a new one.

I sympathize. Every time it stops raining here (it's been raining for 3 weeks), the temperature shoots up into the 90s. Makes everything nice and steamy.

To quote someone (that almost got thrown off a train), "It's too goddamn sultry."
