Holtz - AtS S3 - Bad Choices
If he had know just how horrific this plane of existence would be, Daniel would never have jumped through. He had thought he had known hell. He had known nothing. Those first days still haunted his nightmares. His only saving graces, a relatively dry cave and some sort of docile grazing animal that didn’t fear him. He used their thick, pink milk to nurse the vampire’s son and Steven survived. He glanced at the four-year-old playing with the little stone knife he had given him and Daniel saw the killer instinct. A plan formed in his mind, the perfect revenge.
