Like the new gown, I can relate to the bookcase. My tv stand was built by the same amount of cuss words! Also your bedspread looks really pretty, I'd love to find something like that!!!

That's a beautiful gown, and I recognize the upside-down Hiroshige print against the wall. It's the double sakura one, one of the prettiest prints in Famous Views of Edo. I keep hoping to get that one in a calendar, but so far no dice.

thanks. I REALLY wanted to hang that print. But they're a) really really big b) really heavy and we didn't trust my studless walls.

the gown came out very well

"The Bookcase A Million Cuss Words Built"... what level mage do you have to be to be able to use that? (It sounds like a D&D reference.)

New gown is gorgeous!

thanks. it took me a long time to find the two blues i wanted to put together that would still look semi-authentic and NOT be hotter than hell

Out of curiosity, where did you get him? He really is too cool. Our only Buddha was bought on a whim at a chinese restaurant, and he's not even 2" tall and looks like this:

That Roy plushie in the second picture? THAT is the spawn of Satan thing that hoards my bed all day, and doesn't like the fact that said sleeping device gets shared with the kitten plushies OR ELSE.

In other words, LOVE THAT RENN GOWN! Ah, if only I was that creative. And my old Algebra/Trig teacher has one of those swirly bamboo things, except it kind of died when he left it in school over winter break last year. I still can't get over that gown! I applaud your patience. I applaud you MOAR if you have any left for the rest of your life. :D

I like that bookcase! 'Just hope cusses are a good foundation then. I recognize a few titles in there too. :3

snort. i can see a Roy plushie being evil.

glad you liked the gown. Mom did most of the sewing since she had the machine but I did most of the laying it out and the fabric/ribbon selection> (I can sew b ut i have no machine here)

that book case...one day I'll make a bonfire out of it

I think they make Roy plushies specifically for that reason. There's NO OTHER EXPLANATION.

I just wish I had ANY talent in the make-your-own-clothes department. Mom has all that. Must be a mom thing.

I'LL TAKE IT INSTEAD. :D

snort, i'd buy that only I'm not a mom (though my mom IS better at it than me)

hahaha, no after all the trouble that case put me through it must die at my hands

Then I don't know WHAT to call it. XD

Ahhh, we burning it in a bonfire, roasting smores, waxing poetic and singing Ye Olde Renn Fair songs around it, then? :3
