ZZZZzzzzzzzz
Oct. 11th, 2008 06:27 pmor at least i wish that's what I was doing. Either I picked up a bug or that mongolian BBQ had some issues because my intestines are NOT happy campers. That doesn't mean I sat at home. Ho no, off to Bob Evans Farm Fest I go.
I should have brought a book to read in traffic. took FORTYFIVE minutes to go one mile. I've never seen this many people. probably b ecause it was hotter than the face to the sun. It should NOT be 85+ in October. It sucks. I got so sick. I even had to wait in line to go thru the cattle tunnel under the highway to get into the place. An older couple behind me from Akron were in total disbelief at this.
I got homemade fudge and maple sugar cotton candy (diabetes be damned, I get this once a year so there), honey and some green tomato pepper salsa that was fantastic. Art wise got some dichroic glass pendants, a glass paper weight for mom and some ornaments made out of used light bulbs that were surprisingly cool looking.
then dragged my dehydrated body to the theatre and built more sets and now I am done. stick a fork in me. I'm too tired to even eat my cotton candy damn it.

Even the stuff from Lancaster doesn't sound that yummy!
Theater? Sweet! I had school play auditions today; no matter how many times you do it, you STILL get the urge to just run as far away as you can when they call your name to go in and sing.....

Thank you! And I've been doing plays since 7th grade, it still gets me! Although I hope I did good. (I'm telling myself I did awesomely because if I do it makes everything feel better.) I'll just concentrate on my AP Chem lab instead of worrying, that'll help me get over it. XD

Date: 2008-10-13 04:11 am (UTC)I can only find them at the Wegman's near my grandparents' house and they live 450 miles awaaaaay. I'll have to call them and tell them to mail a bag down, although this one I did get over the summer there did last me until now, so I can't really be complaining.
Oh, funfunfun! I love being backstage and things, it's chaos, but it's fun chaos.
We're doing Beauty & the Beast. :3

Date: 2008-10-13 03:43 pm (UTC)Backstage is where all the REAL drama happens, I'd have to say. :3
Aww! I do have to say that I've been in a play or two I haven't really enjoyed all that much (Annie & Crazy For You), but for the most part, I would probably take theater as a career if not for the fact that I'd rather be a veterinarian more. On the side perhaps? No one has to know. :3

Date: 2008-10-13 06:51 pm (UTC)yeah I was in Annie too. hated it

Date: 2008-10-13 07:08 pm (UTC)I hated it simply because it wasn't exciting enough and it dragged on too much. I had 3 separate little background parts and it was my first play (7th grade), but I just didn't like it. It wasn't something I thought of when I thought "musical theater". My favorite plays I've been in would have to be Oklahoma (8th grade, got my first major role), Once On This Island (summer after 8th grade, another major role), and Kiss Me Kate (Soph year in HS, in the ensemble, but nonetheless amazingly hilarious). I can't wait for B&B to start. Love that movie. :3
