Hocking Hills Hiking Spam
Oct. 13th, 2008 05:12 pmthe truly hardest parts of the hike I didn't photograph. I was too busy wondering how I wasn't dead. Oh and did I mention there were so many people it felt like a city metropark? And the dogs. Everyone had a dog and I felt sorry for most of them, tiny legged dogs don't need this sort of stress.

I love this
the sphinx head

wow I came down that?
fungus is fun
should water BE this color?
tell me you’re joking
dude, where’s my waterfall?
the dredges of cedar falls
Finally! A deciduous tree - cedar falls
no wonder little kids were scared when they saw me

Date: 2008-10-15 04:58 pm (UTC)Yep, we hiked Diamond-head Crater on Oahu Isle, where you have to climb up about 600 feet of trail and stone steps (complete with weird Hawaiian cacti) and crawl through neaely 2000 feet of tiny space, holes in walls, and edges. It makes for an awesome panoramic view at the top though! I went crazy with the camera, so I have all 360 degrees. XD
