found a VERY embarrassing typo on my resume today... sadly it's gone out with that typo many times now. sheesh

Is busy being disappointed in one of the three new nail polishes I got, flying dragon. it's supposed to be a glittery neon purple (because that's class). It's far flatter and darker than it looked in the jar. Sigh.

This was fun and thanks to lyrangalia for helping me look up a few of the less discernable lyrics since nothing is loading right on the dial up tonight. Feel free to guess what the songs are. Sadly, mine isn't as lyrical as some.

I have the same nail polish and have had no problems with it coming out darker as you noted.

Are you first putting on a clear coat of strong adhesion base coat, then the two coats of purple then two coats of clear quick dry top coat? If you do that you'll see the bright glittery purple that it's supposed to be.

Have gotten quite a few compliments on the color the past week and a half. Kind of hate to change the color, but I like to change out the color every week...to suit the mood. Saturday I have a luncheon to attend up at the Shrine temple, and am thinking maybe some glittery silver would be cool looking.

Mine came from a professional beauty supplier, Hmmmm...I wonder if perhaps the one you got came from a batch that didn't come out quit right?

could be the way i put it on. One coat wasn't enough, two is too many. I need maybe to put on a thicker but singular coat. will try my other two purples from them

Thick first coat usually does the trick. I watch the nail tech work on mine, then try to replicate the result at home.
