More Awards

to off set a bad day, here's some really nice awards from the Dark Awards which is open again so go nominate (I'm running out of stuff. My dark tends to be NC-17 which is only eligible in one category. Why I can't keep sex out of my dark is anyone's guess).

All three are runner ups. First up is Sins of the Father for best NC-17 (Connor and Faith do it on a fire escape) This is one of my babies, the first in the What Little Boys are Made of series. CHARACTER DEATH. You've been warned.

Like Unmarked Graves for character death (see you've been warned again) It's as close to Spuffy as I write. Spike gets a soul and goes mad (No lie I wrote this months before it actually happened and I was being sarcastic when I did it since I thought it would be the dumbest thing for them to do... but if it happened I figured it would go like this)  It also won for best action.

Yes yes, I do. Actually I don't do slash at all. So Connor gets plenty of femmes in my stories.

I'm surrounded by slashers. They're legion. They're also very nice, intelligent people (for the most part) but as a gay woman who'd like to see a girl now and then, I get kind of weary of them.

Yeah I do see a lot of the slash stuff (reasons I don't write it has nothing to do with the homosexuality. I'd gladly write Tara/WIllow provided I could come up with a decent plot. Has a lot to do with it being the one thing that sets off the creators of these characters).

Of course there are times I wonder if I turn Connor and Spike into the men I'd like to lay hands on from time to time.

Congrats on the awards. I'll have to make note to go read these the next time I'm in a dark mood. After reading the nominees at the Fade to Black Awards so I can vote, of course. I think I've already read your entry there.

Is voting open at the Fade to Black? Yes, you saw some of my stuff there. Sins of the Father I think is there, given it's pretty extreme. Must go check on this (so far this week there's been three award sites that finished judging and I didn't even know)
