Yay to not having to go to the steeler party

I want to see my mom's best friends but not in the mood for day too of that other woman in close settings so I begged off. I'm going to work on my lectures.

Started watching the game only to see Roethlisberger get hurt. Don't know how bad but it can't be too good if it takes them 15 minutes to undrill your helmet off your head and load you onto a back board. Sheesh. And I can't believe how much we were stinking against the Browns for god's sake. OH has no good teams this year and we were struggling even before Big Ben got hurt. Bah.

Well, at least we did whomp the Browns in the end. I hope they were just being cautious, what with BB's history and all (what kinda stupid IDIOT doesn't wear a helmet on a motorcycle *smacks, but not upside the head*).

I'm a little jealous anyway--no broadcast around here...

I'm back in Pittsburgh for the holidays which is the only reason i got to see it.

I heard it was a concussion, no shocker given BB's history

and yes they did break it out after halftime (when naturally I was no longer watching)
