OH yeah found Alaska at my new library. I haven't seen this one before figuring it was way too childish to go scouring for but since it's there' I figured why not. Shall watch tomorrow maybe.
I love 'Alaska'! I get the impression it's one of those kids' movies that adults like better than kids. Some kids I've talked to see it as a tad condascending, but I had a great time watching it. Big adventure--kayaking, hiking the great north, beautiful landscapes, danger and spiritual journeys and all that. VK is predicably bratty but he reflects and learns and grows.
Plus I loved the character of Sean's (VK's) sister. She was awesome.
