Not human but actual allergies in cats? I think the kitten is allergic to me/my apartment. This could still be a residual cold. However, I notice he's not really getting much better. BUT if I put him outside, he does a bit better.

The longer he's in my apartment, the more he wheezes and sneezes and his conjunctiva get so red and swollen it looks horrible and his eyes don't stop running. His whole face fur is matted with snot and runny eye goop.

He IS going to the vet on Friday but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas. Sadly if this is allergies, I can't keep him. I can't even afford my own allergy pills let alone his. I don't think it would be fair to keep him somewhere he has to stay drugged up just to live here. Thoughts?

Speaking of which, i need to go get my contacts out. MY eyes are swollen

I agree with [livejournal.com profile] wildrider. It could be something as simple as your carpet shampoo or something like that. Is it new? You might be able to figure out what caused it.

Or it could be a cold and his nose runs because he's come into the warmth from the chill outside. Poor baby!

Yes, get those contacts out before you get conjunctivitis!

i will be asking the vet. nothing new in the house. the cat is new though.

i would like to think it's the cold thingbut it doesn't explain why he gets worse as the hours pass, poor baby
