1. I really hate HATE HATE when people who never respond to you otherswise are there the instant you make a mistake and are in the process of fixing it on LJ and have bitched 12 times in the space of time it takes dial up to move. OMG get a life, seriously.

2. I'm editing an older novel of mine, Machiavelli Moon, thinking you know what this IS good. No really. Why won't it sell? sigh. Especially in the light of some of the pure crap out there

3. nearly 60 people died in that ice storm, it makes it all suddenly even scarier than it was at the time.

4. I was watching House yesterday (for about 10 minutes until the ridiculousness that has become Cuddy made me flee. so much for giving this another try) but the doctor who was the patient said something that got me thinking. She didn't want to be a doctor any more because there had to be more to life, that she was waiting to have fun. It was study study study to get into medical school then kill yourself there then off to residency. I KNOW how that feels. It wasn't fun. Being a doctor was so hard, so very very hard. And you know what I was just thinking about things, I haven't been happy since 1995. I was too busy to be unhappy in medical school/residency but once i got out of that I realized...I was mired in debt and I hadn't had fun in years. sigh.

5. I was irritated yesterday with Obama standing behind his appointments but I'm impressed today that he backed down and apologized, saying that was a mistake. He might actually mean a little of what he says.

Obama's clearly got to take another look at his selection process. There are nominations that get derailed because of witch-hunts. But these derailments were totally legit.

I know, some people have no life at all. I've been getting nasty-grams from some loser who's ticked at me because I transcribed some lyrics wrong in a review, where I otherwise gave glowing commentary to her favorite band. Sheesh. There's no pleasing some people...

URG was Cuddy annoying or what? I would've changed the channel but dad was insisting on finishing it. I did love when House told her she did a "slightly crappy job before and now it's a really crappy job" or something like that. I could've hugged the man. I could've done without the Wilson angst too. How was his girlfriend even likeable in the first place?

PS: I do remember reading "Moon" and giggling with it. It should sell. :D

URG!! is equivalent to AAAHHHHHH!!! XD I try not to do much text-speak and use actual sentences. Though I have noticed that hideous "lol" abbreviation sneaking into my comments lately. >_<

I remember reading some of Machiavelli Moon. I'm not sure why it won't sell either. Keep working at it? It is good. Eventually someone is bound to realize that.
