Did You Know Evil is Contagious

It totally is. All ROy ever did was lying around like a lump. Apparently the kitten has infected him. We all know kittens are pure evil sewn up in a fur coat. This one must be oozing an evil aura or is double dog cat daring Roy to do shit. LIke the two of them simultaneously leaping and clawing their way up the back of the couch, scaring the life out me. (someone got accidentally clocked on that raid) Then I saw Roy on a kitchen counter. He's never done that. Then today the kitten nearly died when he leapt on the cord to the curling iron and bit it while nearly pulling the hot iron down on himself. I think there'll be two additions to the lab at this rate.

Also it's probably not my best bet to call Mom and say 'hey mom,I'm helping a friend with a historical novel. It's set in the 1950's, can you help?" My mommy said unkind things to me :-)

Speaking of novels, thanks for the support you all showed for Machivelli Moon. My vampires and I appreciate it.

bah, getting sleepy but my sugar went to slow I'm a little afraid to sleep right now. Need to get that back up...

Most "nostalgia" things about the '80's exaggerate a few of the fads and ignore the vast majority of what was going on then, which was just people living their lives, without big hair or CapitalismRunAmok.

I don't know about that.... I THINK that, and then watch something like "Fast Times at Ridgemont High," which isn't just SET in the 80's, it was made then and is sort of a pinnacle of life at the time, and I think "holy crap, the 80's really WERE like that!!!" I forget, since we inhaled so much hair spray... *g*

I cannot stress enough... welcome to the joys of cat-owned-ship. Yes, they are evil (and some of them never out grow it, either).

I have been considering asking my mother-in-law about things set in 1943. I doubt she'd be upset. She often tells us how things were in the 30's (but then, by the time you reach 87, which she'll be next week, who cares?).

We always tend toward full-grown cats because their personality is pretty well set; but it always comes back to bite cha. We got Cairo as a kitten and he's never bothered to become a cat.

Heh, you should commiserate with tiirz. She has two kittens, and her 17-year-old cat who used to be Too Old for All That is now joining in kitten games and chases.

Plus they tried to murder her by knocking a room divider with heavy objects onto the bed where she was napping.

They are evil. But you did name the kitten Kyo. You have to expect some feistiness. ;-P
