back from med school

Had to take a bunch of students down to Marshall to have a how to get in to med school lecture by a local doc who knows me and Dr. M. (M and I are the heads of the pre professional club). Well she drove there since she has a big Escalade...and I'm sure by the end of this the students we were carting have no doubt Doc Dana and Doc Donna are totally insane. I'm not sure we ever laughed so hard.

It didn't help that Dr. M is such a total flake. She blew thru three red lights along the way. We were sure we were all going to die. there was sadly a snafu at the school and we didn't get the tour after the lecture. The doc doing the lecture was asking everyone why they wanted to go to medical school to help them find BETTER answers then said, 'what about you young lady?" i'm looking around for someone behind me then realized he meant me. He's so frazzled at work he didn't even recognize me.BUt thanks for thinking I could be young enough to want to go to medical school...AGAIN

We hit Outbacks in Barbourville instead. Woot buy one get one free margaritas. The best part was out of six of us, three were lefties (well two and me who is ambi but I eat leftie) so we were so happy in our booth without elbowing anyone!

Good steaks rule...


didn't get home until like 930.I'm totally beat. The boys were inside ALL day. Roy is out,Kyo is still in. He was sitting on my shoulder then slide down, into my shirt, fell out the bottom and slide down my leg then decided i was the funniest ride ever and tried it a few more time. EvOl!


ETA- kyo just jumped up here to be a brat but a bolt of static electricity blew him out of the chair. he's h iding now

I love when animals get zapped by static. My dog just figured it out a little while ago when she stuck her nose on the tv. Of course, she had to growl and bark to make it look like she did it on purpose. >.>
