stomach flu day three. Found out that several others at work have that 'ate a glass flask of sulfuric acid' feel to their stomach and the rebelling other end to go with it. Sigh.

Today was the worst. I nearly fell getting onto the elevator and had to sit the whole two hour class. I totally dehydrated and ended up drinking a coke to help with that and the nausea. (it did but I hate coke) I said screw this, canceled my two hour lab and went home to bed for a few hours. I hate that. I despise not showing for work.

I felt slightly better when I went back for my next two hour class. I'm still queasy but I think this morning was the 'breaking point' for the infection. Hopefully tomorrow i'll be better.

Peppermint tea actually makes my stomach feel worse. I hope you feel better soon.

interesting. Peppermint is pretty good at calming stomachs, ginger too. then again I have the opposite reactions to other things.

thanks

Ewww, stomach flu. And water is better than Coke... I'm a Cola addict and I do the same thing, though...

i didn't want it for the hydration really. Coke syrup settles sour stomach. I loathe pop. Only drink it when i have to

Really? I thought it was only Sprite cause of lack of caffeine Oo Whoa, I learned something new today!I have an addiction. I admit it >>

Man, 7UP or Sprite definitely help with the dry heaves if you get them. Yuck.

Sorry your stomach has been so mean lately. That's never fun. It sounds like going home was a smart move, as much as you hate not going in to work.
