this is a day where not much worked out

though one student was very excited by the cat stomach contents. JUST LIKE CSI!!!


came home and cut up my tri colored peppers, onions and mushrooms to make fajitas. I bought the stuff BEFORE I got sick so I was stunned the peppers were still good (okay the mushrooms I got on Sunday)...and the fajita mix was gone. Not in the spice closet. not on the counters, tables....nowhere. SIgh.

what to make with those veggies. I know Pasta...no pasta. .. okay Orange chicken.I have the glaze.

I take out the chicken which I defrosted and promptly gagged. It had spoiled in a day.

Okay so Orange glazed tempah. Open the glaze. Looks at it. Why is it BLACK? How long have I had this? Whimpers. Tosses

I know tempah korma. I was going to make that this week anyhow. Tap on the mild curry. Dig out the cream....forgot to buy cream.

Getting desperate now. Digging into the condiment closet. Find Seaseme ginger orange glaze. Good enough. DUMP. WRap in my sprouted grains flourless 'tortilla' and pretend it's a mu shu pancake. pray for the best.


Watched a really interesting show on TLC "Pregnant for 46 years" while I ate. It wasn't too horrid.


Mom called me to tel me about the new casino. Does she tell me about all the appointments and the restaurant. No. First she says the casino messed up and forgot to tell the post office the envelop had a card in it and the post office demagnetized thousands of players cards.

Then she said you MUST come home for this. They have the best new games. There's a Star Wars one with a huge Yoda on it. I want that Yoda (envisions mom robbing the casino of one Yoda)

And they have a STAR TREK GAME! MR SPOCK IS ON IT!!. SOME BITCH WOULDN'T GET OFF IT ALL NIGHT!!! (envisions Mom murdering some old biddy with nothing but the elastic cord on her player's card). Should have beat her up, Mom. YES I SHOULD HAVE. BITCH. You and I are going at 3 AM so I can get that game when no one else is on it. Yes Mom (envisions Mom not crazy...)

I have never been able to understand how slapping a picture of a mermaid on one slot machine makes it a completely different game from the slot machine with a picture of a fireman on it. I guess i just don't understand the intricate art of gambling...
