It should be blatantly obvious from all my other posts that yes, I have been very busy writing this week. I wrote over 10K of fanfic (not reflected in my word count) and finished all of my 10 [livejournal.com profile] springkink stories and had them edited by my wonderful flist. Thank you for all your help.

As to the morning pages, yeah still not doing them. Maybe I'll try to get back in to it. Right now I didn't need a boost of any kind. I needed an off switch.

The writing contract is in the mail and [livejournal.com profile] circletpress has my bio under my erotica pen name Jana Denardo (two great grannies names, they're probably spinning in their graves) This feels very good

Also learning that I respond well to small press 'call for submissions' when there is a theme. I have one BDSM one I'm struggling with and another Space Opera one that samhain is sponsering an anthology for is calling my name. Let's see how I fair.

also note that I changed the stupid word counter here like i was told to by the site but it doesn't seem to want to move off it's nano preset of 50K

i havent' thought about doing a space opera in years (mostly I dropped out of SF several years back when military SF made a resurgance along with cyberpunk)

Well, I was raised on Star Trek and 50's b-movies, and to me there's nothing like starships and blaster fights. I invented my own space exploration universe when I was in my early teens, and by my late teens had a whole list of story ideas and had actually written a number of them. About the time I graduated high school I realized it was too Star Trek like, so I made major changes in the character list and the universe they lived in -- only to see a lot of those ideas incorporated into Star Trek -- The Next Generation. Great minds think alike?

Anyway, someday I'd like to dust off those old stories and see how much of that universe and which of the stories (if any) can be salvaged ...

The problem with being ahead of your time is that no one ever realizes it until too late!
