More of that Connor/Angel story

Here's the actual FIRST chapter of Leaning on the Edge of E, where the chapter I wrote quickly for Maren's B-day came from. Let me know what you think. Oh and this is Connor POV (it'll be alternating Connor/Angel first person pov's). Since this is a WIP all input is very much appreciated.

Haven't seen the Finale, but the visual imagery around the dragon-riding was very cool.

Like the story so far. Tiny spelling nits. Somewhere in there, was a line where you have "arial" (Connor does an arial manuever) mispelled "ariel". Also, an extra space in the word "pain" making it look like "pa in". You should be able to do a find & replace on those.

thanks Dave. Yeah I noticed the pa in one too. There's another typo that I saw on a quick read but have forgotten it. ch '2' barely had a read thru at this point so I'll go fix those

Really liked this chapter. I like the little details you put into your stories like the Nova. Loved Connor riding in on the dragon and while the Nova may be a cool car, you can't really beat riding into battle on a dragon *grin* Can't wait to read more of this

Thanks. ANd I'm sure Connor will agree with you. As cool as a Nova is, dragon back is even cooler. He'd just needs to hope Angel doesn't shoot him down before realizing who it is.

I loved "my" chapter too. Angel is a big dumb goober sometimes but I like him trying to be the cool dad and loving the B/A. Plus the story has Faith so I'm in heaven.

Oh, but I should mention that I'm irritated with you for making me aware of crazy_girl_mary's challenge because now I'm planning on using it for leni_ba's IWRY Marathon.

SNORT. I think I screamed at Writing Goddess for making ME aware of that challenge. Like I needed another challenge.

And worse, I STILL have a multi character PWP based on Rocky Horror's sound track begging to be written. Can I shoot that part of my brain?

Thanks, yes Connor is and part of the problem is (I started this driving from FL to PA) is that Connor refused to tell me chapter two. He starts today when I'm trying to teach class. SHUT UP. I have to explain glycogenesis, glucogenolysis and glycogenolysis and how they're NOT the same and scrawny is chattering away.

And I'm glad you liked your chapter too. There'll be more B/A and Faith, probably right up to the end and yes, he can be a goober at times but that's what the bulk of this story is about, him learning to be a good dad (and connor to be a better son)

Ah, to be honest After the 100th eppy I only watched Origins and the finale. I wish now that I had seen the Illyria stuff because she is cool.

which I wasn't expecting since I not only dislike Fred, I've never had much respect for Acker's acting abilities in ANgel OR elsewhere so the way she handle Illyria really gave me more respect for her and I was kinda wishing she had brought that to Fred not that I expected to like the character more.
