I feel awful

I didn't sleep last night. I mean at all. I was exhausted so i went to sleep early actually and just laid there, coughing sporadically but the real issue was my mind racing and refusing to shut off. I haven't had a night like since I left WI. I gave up at 330 and read a little. Didn't help. Around 6 I saw the sun coming up and that put me out for about an hour or two. And I have so much to do today. Yuck.

And the whole PMS thing didn't help. Took a look in the mirror around 1 AM and thought, god i'm so old and alone (and okay i KNOW it's just the hormones, I don't look old, in spite of an ugly birthday coming in three days, the alone part only sucks occasionally.)

So if I'm overly bitchy today, just ignore me.

or make my day and hire me a maid. come on it's almost my birthday. And I need one that doesnt frighten easily or mind I'm apparently an old pervert. (seriously, if anyone came in the computer room...how to tell COM's been writing porn, sex books, sex cards, sex you name it littering the floor)

Hey, 42 is the meaning of life you know? I haven't found it to be too horrible to be 42. I think it might help if you decide that 42 is in fact NOT old. (since it's not.)

You know... 40 is the new 30. I think 60 is the new 40, but I think by the time I get to 60 that 40 will be the new 20 and 60 will be the new 30. I plan to live to be 120 anyway... You know, these are all just numbers. The point here is that the number isn't important. If you decide you're old, then you're old. If you decide to be young, then you'll continue to be young. You are in fact younger than me you know... and I'm young.

yeah I'm actually not bothered in the least about being 42. My hormones on the other hand are bothered by everything right now. once this week is past, it'll be life as usual until this time next month
