and go running around in this deliciously cool weather. It feels so good

It was a much better day today though it didn't start out that way. I shut three of my toes in the bathroom door (no don't ask how) and I'm pretty sure two are broken. Eh, i'lljust wear sturdy shoes.

Mom and I ventured out in the pouring rain to go to Macy's and to drop off all the beautiful cloths for the baby. I get the bright idea to go to Joann fabrics to see their outdoor stuff and get a huge blue planter, a squirrel and some other garden crap all a 70% off. Macy's had some of the truly ugliest things I've ever seen

Ladies my age, remember the 80's? Rememer that huge gummed waist bands? Guess what, they're back! I hated them when I was a stick figure. I can just imagine what I'd look like in them now. Sigh. There goes clothes buying this year. I did find a few things including a sweater coat from last year that was 110$ on sale for 16$ in bright turquoise.

S brought the baby out to meet us at the mall. We all sat around talking. Sammi is absolutely beautiful. She's 3 weeks old and has such a head of hair. I held her for a little bit. Let me tell you chaining her into her chair seat is cause for MUCH melodrama, poor thing. S looks really good too, you'd never know she just had a baby. It was great to get to see them since i won't see them again until the holidays.

Went to Borders and someone trashed the manga section. I had a 30% off coupon and I was going to use it even though the things i really wanted weren't there.

Got home and learned granny won't be coming to the 4th of July picnic at Hillbilly cove Lake Berlin which really is cause to celebrate since she can't go onthe boat and would expect us all to sit in the house and cater to her. Besides it's really too hard on her.

Then I got the notice that I'm done with rewrites on Unquiet Ghosts I'll let you know when the anthology comes out.

the baby bunnies got their revenge on Rogue. There's a Rogue length border out there with bunny guts vomit on one side and poo on the other. Serves him right.

Didn't you break a toe a little while ago? How many are broken now? Eek!

Rotten Rogue. I hope he didn't get something serious from the baby bunny dinner, though. Rabbits can carry diseases.

Stowed? Is that where you jam or pull the toe really hard and limp on it forever? Because I've done that...

I have to admit I was actually glad I hated most of this season's clothes -- saves me money buying something I don't need, and I've thrown away most of the catalogs without even a twinge of regret...

I need to do the "clothing purge" everyone else is, but my problem is I bought a lot of stuff in anticipation of more weight loss just as I hit this plateau, so I have a couple boxes of things I can't wear YET... (frustrating!!!)

yeah that would be and i just bought a bunch of stuff and lost ten pounds and now they're falling off

That's why I had initially bought so much that was too small, because it was just after I'd dropped suddenly from size 11 to size 8-9, and I had several things I'd just bought that I could no longer wear, so I figured the next drop would be just around the corner...

I totally don't understand what you mean by "Huge Gummed Waistbands" I even did web search and didn't find any clarification. So I rely on you to make this clear to me. O_o
