just BAH (and a dream)

I just found out my endocrinologist appt and my gastroenterologist appt are on the same day in the same clinic which should be a big yay only they're five hours apart...and it would be 100 miles round trip to go come home and go back again. Going to check to see if Harry Potter shows early enough for me to jaunt over there.

so they're moving gram to a nursing home for a few days because she has pneumonia...probably has had it all along but the dingdong doctor at this hospital didn't catch it and told mom a lot of stuff that just isn't medical reality (isn't it nice to have people in the family who know when the doctor is an idiot covering his butt)

i havent' stopped working before 930 any day this week. Ah summer school where I'm expected to do a month's worth of work in four days. SHoot me.


ETA - I forgot my stress dream. I was dreaming I was living in this building...which was like the old storefront, warehouse things you see in mainstreet USA around the turn of the 20th century. I had my cats and got a third one which ate Kyo. While I was dealing with that, I was sleeping in the basement when suddenly evil_little_dog shows up and drops a Lei on me, only it's made of fist sized white plastic pearls. I was sort of mad. I'm like why are you back? Did you quit? get fired? It's the middle of the damn week and how did you get my keys to get in.

I don't remember her answers or how we got to the next part of the dream but I was forced to dissect her. I took off all the leg muscles first then opened her up. She was filled with bubble wrap and some kind of collector's toys but I couldn't see what, like a giant pinata.
