It's nearly 1 Am when suddenly a huge shadow falls over me as I type. Talk about startling. Turns out it was a HUGE moth. I caught it and turned it loose. It was get nothing done weekend. Okay I got my lecture down. And I did get that Connor story done but still... I expect more of myself.

Well there is more. I DID Just finish the Behind the Scenes story with Steven and Holtz. Yep, do another dance. I'm not sure I like the ending. Poor little Steven takes some abuse in this.

Oh and supposedly my heat will be fixed tomorrow. That'd be nice since it's like 40 something now...

Oh, I hate those things. Far too much power is given to the students to judge you based on criteria that don't really have bearing on well you teach.

No kidding and I have to do it twice because I'm new. This sucks. At least most of them are bitching about stuff that's a) NOT my policy but rather the dean's b) things I can not change. Nothing yet has been said about my teaching style (my boss voluntarily does them every week so at the end of the year we turn them into the dean after we get blasted just to prove all along they were happy enough)

I've been waiting to read this BtS for almost a month now (or more). Squeee! Tomorrow is the day! I love ficathon deadline days. Everyone had new fic to show off, fic to recieve and read.. oh happiness.
