Echoes BtVS S4

Buffy stared at her college text books stacked on the edge of her bed as if waiting for her to open them. Instead, she barely noticed them, her gaze turned inward. It had been weeks but she still couldn’t believe Angel had left.

He said it was for her sake but shouldn’t she have had a say in what was good for her? This missing him was destroying her, ruining her concentration. She was going to fail out of college and get killed in a fight. It was hard to slay when her ears were filled with echoes of him.
