Day 8 happies

um this is a struggle since today sucked. two nexium and tums (not taken at the same time) couldn't kill the pain I was in. And grandma seemed to figure Dad's not acting like an ass so it's my turn to be an uber bitch.

so happies - I finished a long YA book I was reading

I've lost another 3 pounds

I completed an fma_ihop story

I read the two short stories I want to hammer into one. Okay there's something I've noticed with Machiavelli Moon and now this, I was MEAN to things I liked back in the 90's. No seriously, you'd think I hated them. I'm not sure if this was a reflection of the stress of being a doctor or what but my writing has this cruel tinge to it.


These two stories aren't how I remembered them. The first is barely usable. The second still has interesting ideas but if these two people are supposed to be in love you can't tell. Is there a third I don't remember? I remember a critique from back then who wanted them to be more lovey dovey in bed...well that scene isn't in either of these stories....

SO I think it'll be keeping the characters and the ideas and starting over from scratch almost. I DID find where Arrigo will be living The Sky on the Strip. It occurs to me that Vegas has none of the cool cemeteries New Orleans does but hell Luc can just go get lost in a casino and never see the sun...

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. It's a young adult series i picked up from the library

I hear ya. This novel I'm reading from the YA series Wicked (not to be confused with the Wizard of Oz spinoff which I definitely recommend for you.) is starting to piss me off. I was kinda offended when it got a little blasphemous.
