Sep. 13th, 2009 04:33 pmI had to call Dish AGAIN. For over 8 weeks now I've been calling telling them that my local channels do not work. The picture is fine but the sound is like a badly tuned radio. Finally they have the brilliant idea to send out a tech. However, they want to either charge me 50$ for a visit or I could buy for 6$ a month tech service protection.
I said in eight weeks NO ONE has even offered to fix it. Last time you told me locals weren't under your control and that you put in a work order (which obviously you didn't). I'm switching to Direct TV.
The tech will be here tuesday for free. Watch him tell me it's not broken like they did last year when the problem was more intermittent. Remembers to save last night's America's Most Wanted so they can hear how bad it is.
They offered me 3 months free HBO/Showtime and I said no because in three months I'd have to remember to call in and cancel it. no way.
