Happy Birthday aaronlisa Hope it was a good one (yeah I'm a little late and now the stupid graphics won't load but yay birthday)

rather than you know write, I came up with two version of a book cover for my nano. Okay keep in mind i only have PAINT. WHich must be the suckiest of the suck-ass graphic programs in existance. I couldn't get the text boxes to move once placed (and accidentally killed the blank version). Also i wanted blood on the road but there is absolutely nothing in paint that resembles blood so....

which do you prefer?

version one (I wanted the words at the top but initially it wouldn't go up there to save my soul)

version two Once i got it up to the top i'm not sure i liked it...

I was a monk. Every so often back when I was handwriting alot, old english spellings would crop up. Also, i died in a fire once (I think I started it)

yay thank you for doing that. My graphics program won't let me do stuff like that and makes big white blobs around the text. I'm totally using this on the nano site if you don't mind

oh and thanks for editing out the stupid modern street sign i couldn't get it out eiither (btw this is the Pittsburgh court house)

YAY! I'm so glad you liked it! You use it any way and any where you like. =D

P.s. I used paint too (it's all I have as well) - When you do text, look to the left under all of your choices. After you click 'text' you should be able to see two choices of geographic shapes there - choose the bottom one. It makes the words blend with your graphics and colors, without a white background behind them. And, yeah, I cropped it a bit to get it more book shaped. When you want to do that, click 'select all' then move it where you want it. Once you do that, you can move the sides in to finish cropping.

Wow, London damp and cold. I would never have guessed :-) I'm not sure i could live there and more than I can live in the American NW. I'm fine with snow but cold rain makes me ache like no tomorrow.

Just thought I should add (lest when you read NSI Ch 5 you think it's the most ridiculously coherent dream sequence ever) that the PTSD dream thingy is actually a narrative flashback followed by a scene implying the person concerned had some kind of freaky dream/flashback about it. Actually, I gave two people get PTSD dreams. Of course it was the same two characters everyone gives them to. Who could resist?

Absolutely! They've all got perfectly good reasons to have horrible dreams, and post-manga Al too. What I like about tormenting manga Roy is how entertainingly grumpy and snappy and rude it makes him. What a mean person I am.
