“I can’t believe you took me to a movie that scary,” Gracia said as she cuddled next to her new husband in the back of a cab.
“You loved it,” Maes countered, rubbing her arm.
“You loved me clinging all over you with my eyes covered, head down in your lap.” Gracia pinched his side.
Maes laughed. “That, too.”
“You certainly know how to mix things up, husband mine. First a delightful dinner then a movie that won’t let me sleep a wink.”
“All part of my master plan.” Maes squeezed her hand.
“Ah, I see.” She kissed him. “Devious man.” Gracia settled against Maes for the remainder of the ride.
When the cabbie dropped them off at the military apartment they were ensconced in, the tall man led her inside then scooped Gracia up, carrying her squealing down the hall.
“Maes!” Gracia clung to him. “You’re going to drop me.”
“Never.” He set her back down at their door. “I will never let you down.”
She snuggled against his chest as he fished for his keys. “I believe that.”
Maes got the door open and he ushered her inside grandly, kissing her even as he fumbled for the lock once they were inside.
“Nice way of making up for that scary movie,” Gracia said, in between kisses, her arms looped around his neck.
“I’ve only just begun.” Maes’ fingers trailed along her cheek. “I was thinking about that thing we had been talking about.”
Gracia stepped back into the small living room. “Really? You don’t think it’s too soon? We just got married.”
Maes pulled her close. “We wanted to start a family. If you want to wait a little longer that’s wonderful but if you want to start right away, that’s also great. I’m already shopping for a little house for us, non-military, so if something happens to me you won’t be without a home.”
Gracia shut her eyes. “Don’t even talk about that but it sounds very smart, so very you.”
“I want the very best for you.” Maes kissed her, slipping an arm around her.
Gracia steered him toward the bedroom at the end of the hall. Maes scooped her up again, whisking her to their bed. Gracia pulled him down with her, her mouth meeting his. “It’s not too soon,” she decided.
Maes rained down a smile on her as Gracia hurriedly unbuttoned his shirt. Her hands played across the hair that cut down his belly to points beyond then swirled up over his chest. Maes’ strong fingers played in her hair then smoothed down over her face and neck. He tugged her blouse out of the waistband of her skirt, letting his fingers dance over the skin of her belly, making it shiver. Gracia’s nipples stood out against the soft padding of her bra and Maes found them quickly enough. He teased them through the fabric of her clothing before she pulled off her blouse and rid herself of the bra.
His soft lips sealed around one pert nipple, sucking gently against it. She slid his opened shirt off, tossing it to the floor. Gracia rubbed a hand over the tented cotton of his trousers, listening to him groan against her flesh. Maes gently pushed her back against the mattress, running his hands up under her skirt. He unhooked Gracia’s garters, sliding her panty hose down her right leg. He kissed the arch of her foot then repeated the action on her left.
Sitting back up, Gracia tugged Maes’ belt open then undid his zipper. She brazenly reached into his trousers, stroking him. As often as they made love since their wedding, Gracia couldn’t get enough of it. If her friends knew just how wonderful Maes was, they would be jealous that he was all hers. Maes shucked out of the remainder of his clothing before lying down on the bed with her.
Their hands explored and teased until their bodies were more then ready for one another. Gracia squirmed under Maes’ fingers as they toyed with her clit, taking her so close before he even entered her. She moaned softly as he pushed inside her. They rocked together, the feelings echoing in her just slightly different without the thick condom between them. It felt better, softer, just so much more of everything.
Their thrusts and cries all led to the inevitable end. Maes didn’t let her go afterwards, staying inside her, kissing her mouth and neck. “Love you so much,” he mumbled between kisses.
“I can’t imagine a more perfect man to have babies with,” she murmured sleepily.
Smiling, Maes slid out of her before tucking around her, holding her tight. “If we have a girl, let’s call her Treasure.” His words barely carried to her, almost like he was talking in his sleep.
“That’s awful. How about Elicia?”
“Mmm, beautiful.”
Gracia kissed his knuckles, tucking their joined hands under her chin. She knew just how lucky she was to find Maes and hoped he kept proving it every night.

4. Still on holiday, still ljing once or twice a day, ridiculously. I haven't eaten durian yet but I did have some kaya toast and later, tasty won ton soup.
