The first day of the year

passed like any other. I forgot my pills yesterday and a huge storm is brewing so mom and I went back over and did a little more shopping.

came home, helped mom make the traditional good luck/good money new year's dinner (this one comes from the German immigrants) saur kraut & pork. My aunt and uncle came out. Mom and I watched criminal minds. Dad's acting like he's a spoiled brat and the cat is hogging the vent.

same old same old, life goes on. I'm trying to get the fiction round up done. keep your eyes open.
