In all seriousness this is my last trip to that doctor. Columbus is pretty far after all and my blood vessels look fantastic. As much as I like this guy we both agree it would be easier for me to continue my follow ups in Chillicothe which is less than half the distance away. It's thanks to Dr Epstein I still have a leg. Without his skill I would have lost it. I did speak to him about the increasing pain/numbness but he feels there is no vascular cause (I agree) I turned down his help in finding an ortho since it would be all in Columbus. I'd just go back to my original surgeon in that case.

We also spent time talking Cincinnati which is where he's from and I hope to get off my ass and get a hotel for this weekend so I can play around there some. He had some good recs for things to do.

Getting there was a nightmare today though. From circleville up there was 58 miles of construction. My GPS said hey the road was closed go this way. Well there are too many 18 wheelers to see if there is or isn't a closure. So I go that way. I'm like okay Richenbacker airport? Why are you taking me to Obetz? Ah Parsons, that goes downtown eventually all 25 mph and red lights. (Some of you might not realize I did a couple years as a home health doctor in Columbus. I know a lot of the ways but it's been 25 years) And then it goes left on Rathmell. I'm like shall I huck you out the window GPS? You're taking me back to the fucking main road. Yep. All it did was drive me around the backside of the casino. The road wasn't closed (but it had been because I saw the signs tossed into the weeds)

My nurse taking my blood pressure and listening to this tale of woe asks, how long were you in the waiting room. like 10 minutes, why? My BP was 111/57. Um heart? You in there? Maybe I DID die last week after all. No wonder I'm so damn tired all the time. There's no blood going to my brain.

Since I was up in Columbus I went shopping. I foolishly returned to Michael's and bought a few more things for my autumnal aether witch cosplay and yes another frakking Spooky Town house (the pet store, it had werewolf puppies. That is how I defend it)

Whole Foods has gotten so expensive for cheese (and half is the same thing over at Trader Joe's at half the price) that I bought very little of anything (as the veggies were the same as in Kroger's) so I can maybe skip it next time.

Speaking of skipping things, there is a Nordstrom Rack there. Last year I got a few very nice things there. Earlier this year there wasn't much selection. today I went in and couldn't find anything. A sales clerk asked me could she help. Yes please where is your plus selection?

Oh it's over here. She takes me to ONE ringed rack hidden in the coats. ONE FUCKING RACK. I think she sensed an explosion and added, well there's some mixed into the clearance too. After that she got wide eyed and raced off before I could murder her I suppose. I just left. I know other Nordstrom's have plenty of plus sizes so this has to be a local decision.

So I got in the car and went to get my over price Jeni Lyn's ice cream in Dublin only to find at one of the busiest intersections in the NW, they took out the intersection with lights and put in a roundabout. Good luck with that. Nearly died there because Americans don't get roundabouts. I am filled with regret I didn't get the salty licorice ice cream limited edition

Trader Joe's was good. Got my cheese. Got some things Flippy suggested. Got the limited edition pumpkin hand pies. Got an anxiety attack (mild, too many people). Nearly got nailed in the parking lot again.


As for yesterday I went shopping before the comic book store put back my comics..and they aren't pulling the right ones again. She anticipated some of the Sandman related ones but others weren't there sigh. They had trending manga (that I bought later at Books a million, sorry indie store but I get a discount) Did anyone else know Hiromu Arakawa has a new manga out that not just her doing art for someone else's story? Daemons of the Shadow Realm. So far it's very weird (and honestly as much as I adore Fullmetal Alchemist, Arakawa does the same character faces on repeat for every series).

I went to Michael's in Huntington too. OMG, almost NOTHING is left of Halloween. No seriously. The store was picked clean. I got the meager left overs. I did buy another store for my village, the Bierhaus (which is the one I wanted most so that's now 3 this year. Yikes) on sale thankfully plus I had a 15$ voucher.

I also hit Spirit Halloween. NO spikey white wigs. Honestly not everything was even out. They must have opened their doors this weekend, half stocked. As I'm playing with the animatronics I hear 'Dana' and thought wow, they're sentient. Nope the chair of allied health was there too. Snort. I got 80 miles and it's still not far enough around here but hey at least he's my people. If I had better storage,

I bought some shorts at Macy's only to have my card declined. Huh? I had a zero balance. Why? (in fact after I got home I found out they owe ME money so I need to call them)

Home Goods and I had an entanglement. I lost. On the other hand I have a SUV filled with Halloween shit. Yes I'll take pictures eventually.

I also almost got in an accident 3 times, two by people running red lights. One of them was a white jeep with hot pink door and trunk hinges and a wheel with a rainbow light racing around it. If I got creamed by Barbie's Dream Jeep I would have been pissed. the other near accident was stupid. I mean STUPID. So there's a loop around this mall, four freaking lanes. I'm in the far left lane so I can turn down toward Home Goods. NO ONE is in the three right lanes. As I got to turn here comes this truck, two wheels on the berm two wheels in the fucking grass passing me on the left. WHY? I mean why? No one was in the other lands and who goes off the road to pass someone on the left when they have their left turn signal on.

Somehow Im not ready for class tomorrow.
