As I catch up on the recorded shows, I'm finally getting to the Sci-Fi channel's 25th anniversary (and it's given me a new light on 2 shows I didn't really like). they were talking about Battlestar Galactica and mentioned that if you have an interesting villain and a sympathetic one, then you've really got something. Dovetails nicely with my writerly ways.

I would like to have one day where my stomach wasn't gurgling ominously and nauseated. sigh.

I had a dream last night. I said I couldn't forget it and repeated the man's name again and again when I woke up to pee in the middle of the night. His name is Oren Urtz. It's all I remember. My brother told me his dream. For some reason his house was joined to my parents' house and his cat, Scraps, was in my room staring at a bug. He got the spray and it turned out to be Coleco Spiders (as in Coleco vision as near we can figure) which were red, white and blue and the size of tarantulas with hard shells like a turtle. The room was swarming with them. Freaky.

I feel like I wasted today. I put a new game on the computer from disc but I think it needs to go online to actually work. Can't do that and ever since then the computer is acting funny. sigh.

I'm trying to figure out what to do with my big bang. Well more the side story stuff (i.e. what could Roy/Riza be doing just post 108 and they're still recovering). I know what the main story is. The well is feeling a bit dry. Is there anything I haven't done with them?

Declutter day 7 - dug out some laundry bag that I bought and it tore almost instantly. I kept it to serve as a conveyance from here to the charity drop off for clothing. It's now mended and ready.

I'm thinking of Tarran's mom. She was kinda but not really sympathetic, but probably the closest I'd/we'd gotten to something like that.

And yeah, feeling the Roy/Riza dry well myself. Saved for perhaps a few ideas I pretty much wrote all of my ideas related to them even though I'm in the FMA Fandom close to three years now, haha.

I don't know what it is with dream-people having names. I know I dreamed of a nice young man once, probably thirty years ago, who told me very clearly and distinctly that his name was Wylie Mellon. I don't know why I took such care to memorize it, but I've never forgotten that name. Maybe someday I'll meet Wylie in real life? That would be strange.

Tarantulas with turtle shells does not sound like a good thing.

I know. it's so strange. Oddly enough Oren (Oran?) is the name of the man running the shelter I gave Soul to.
