It was a bad smell day
Apr. 5th, 2013 10:24 pmSeriously. I had a mishap with perfume. I tried a fancy sample. Now I do well with florals and fruits. Woods are chancy. Spices are usually a NO. This seemed okay. It was sweet smelling. I put it on and with my body chemistry it smelled like sweat and curry. No lie. then I go in (with it at least being put on lightly) and DM whom I don't get along with has Dollar General perfume on that could stun an elephant. It's like my god, don't buy that THERE!
Then I dissect eyes and brains. They get on me. I help L dissect something for her class since I'm go to girl when you want to find bits inside of something. Yep. It's a smelly day.
Also it was an expensive day. Ordered my glasses. Luckily I only had to pay 100 of the 250 dollars of cost. The tech looked at me with this guilty face, 'I'm so sorry but it'll take 2-3 weeks to get you your glasses. The prescription is SO bad it's a special order. No one would have this in stock.'
Yeah, I know I'm blind. I'm used to it. I can't get contacts fast either. Also my vision did get worse since August. Whee. Lost another half diopter. I think the glasses are attractive, gunmetal grey. They were trying to sell me on the plastic ones but while the colors were fun, they were LOUD. I don't want to worry about my glasses clashing.
My ovarian cysts are acting up. For the last six weeks, I've had a period every other week. Yeah the next time the OB/Gyn says she wants to spay me, I might just say YES
I'm stalling out on my nano but here, have a look at one of my problems with it. click here for details.
Declutter day 57 item tossed -Mystery book why kept-Wanted to read why tossed - read it. Going in the ‘mother’s day gift’ pile

Tonight's snippet - Leaning over, Tariro tapped her pendant to the Shyroth House signet on his finger, transferring a gift onto its CPU. “You work far too hard, Aneurin. That’s two weeks’ worth of time at Earthshine spa. You can use it all at once or just go for the day.” Her green eyes lit up as he smiled at her.
“Thanks, Tariro, that’s very nice. I could use it.” He was an anomaly among half of his friends who coasted on family reputation. He didn’t just work; he was an award-winning scientist. Tariro was right; he worked far too much.

Date: 2013-04-06 02:37 am (UTC)at least I washed the eyeballs off. I forgot to mention I dropped the silicone pad from the dissection tray into the huge garbage can and had to go diving after it...after all the eyes and brains were in there

Date: 2013-04-06 02:44 am (UTC)Having my ovary removed was fantastic (the cyst was three times the size of the ovary). They took it out laproscopically through my belly button. Then I went through immediate menopause. I recommend it to anyone. :-)
