I actually got it done
Apr. 22nd, 2004 04:44 pmIt was a near miss! Sheesh. Never sign up for ficathons when you're in the middle of finals. Here we go. My contribution to Leni_BA's B/A ficathon. Why is it every time I try to write B/A, those two refuse to play nice? Everyone else can write these nice, tight angsty or fluffy plots and I put them together and the only thing they're willing to do is sprawling action/adventure things (which is just as well since my restrictions were no angst, no fluff). Sheesh. Just once, I'd like a nice emotional piece without the ensemble but will these two cooperate? Hell no.
So without further ado I give you The Color of Time. It needs more polish. I know that. It'll look better when I get time to do that and get it up on my site (Sorry, Sorcha, I wanted it to look better than this) Still, I hope you enjoy. Let me know.

In other news, I didn't get to leave you a review on "A Most Stormy Life", so here goes. Very different, this is one of those stories that I would actually like to see continue. The fact that his girlfriend is a gypsy makes me wonder whether she was steered Connor's way by those vengeful nuts. And the way Connor's innate darkness kept spilling out was a nice, spooky touch. If I was Angel, I'd get out of town.

Tshaya came out more as an exploration of my own self and the relatively new found knowledge that I'm very most likely half Romany and I've been looking at that culture. But then I realized well duh, there is definitely going to be the 'is she there to keep an eye on ANgel and his spawn' question. If I ever get a spare moment I wouldn't mind exploring this AR again
