I really did. I decided I didn't feel like going to the Irish fest since I have a lot of tests to write (didn't write them due to my sugar going sky high after waiting too long to eat). I went to do laundry and to get my blood drawn. I warned them. I'm a hard stick. I'm NPO at the moment for this particularly test. My veins are deep. My veins roll. My veins collapse. My veins are a dick. It took the maximum amount of sticks (3) by three phlebs. I had holes everywhere. They dug around in each hole (btw this doesn't actually bother me. I can do just about any medical procedure outside of general anesthesia without blinking).



yeah you can see at least three red blotches (several are not from the needle but because they ignored the whole I'm allergic to tape thing. The big bruise is because, as I warned them, the vein blew up. The whitish area in the middle is a big ass blood clot. WHEE.

Ugh. Your veins are worse than mine. I always tell people to use a blood pressure cuff and get their best phlebotomist or nurse. My veins also roll and are hard to stick. I have a couple of needle scars from bad blood draws. (shudder)

*laughs* yup. XD My one friend from Oregon once told me it was like an all day affair to go to the mall. The trip there & back was like forever, & here it's just 15, 20 minutes. XD And I can walk to a strip mall to get to a GAP if I needed a pair of jeans & had no car, although, I'd rather buy Target jeans, they're cheaper, fit better, & come in my big butt size. XD

Ugh the gap. Well like I said, the strip mall is 40 miles off one way and 80-100 miles one way for a big mall. So yeah it IS an all day thing for me to get to the mall. Glad I hate shopping.

I fixed it. Somehow 'conservations' was enabled. I have no idea HOW since you have to go into options to do it.

This is how I missed MANY meetings last year before IT realized that was enabled in my inbox.
