Stars shot thru my patch of the heavens

cornerofmadnessI went out hoping for a look at the meteor shower last night. It's been SO overcast that I haven't been able to. Even so, last night I saw many cloud-muted ones and a half dozen clear shooting stars. So pretty. I love looking up at the stars.
Went to Athens to meet with my writer friends. Not a lot of writing got done but other diner patrons got to hear things like 'why is it so hard to kill one kid?' I've been trying to kill him for three hours now.
I got jack done again today. I'm not sure what's wrong with me that I have no motivation to clean or do anything. Well I do know part of the reason. The temp dropped drastically. While I'm MUCH happier with it being cool I do poorly with temperature swings. In SO much pain that I broke down and took my pain pill (NSAID, not narcotic) I do feel better now so many I can sleep.
Nearly plowed a sizeable coyote with my car on the way home. I do not like seeing these here.
