cornerofmadnessDriving for hours, getting to your parents' place and finding out they have no water. Water company promised it would be here by 7 pm. It's twenty to 11 and no water. Whee. At least the drive was good but not getting ready for it. Kanda hid. Bad. I did learn I can still lay on a bed dive halfway under and still pull myself up by back muscles. I didn't think I was that limber still.
Sadly my muse left me on the drive (and a melancholy took its place) But I made it here just fine. I'll be in PA just shy of a week.
It's another nice cool evening. I'm loving these. It's alive with sound right now, crickets, frogs, night birds. Anyone who thinks the woods are silent at night haven't been in them much.
Lucky Uncle got tickets to see Bill Cosby at the casino tomorrow. Mom really wants to go so she and I are. I'm less excited but maybe it'll be fun. He used to be really funny back in the day.
