and have already lured me into talks about Dr. Who, anime and tried Once Upon a Time (sorry, don't like that one). At least most of them seem engaged and I'm really hoping this will be a good class.

Have I mentioned my brother is in Mexico and my cousin is in Africa? Sounds like fun vacations to me (though I would probably pick a different country from either of those if I had a choice. Scotland. I wanna go to Scotland).

Speaking of Scotland, Alien spotted on Scottish Abbey thanks to ES for this.

I was house hunting again and one web site blows in that you can't fine tune by putting in price parameters. I found these two gems.

Is it me or is this a giant outhouse?

And this is SO out of my price range it's not funny (but I did, for a moment, consider the possibility of affording the mortage if I could rent out the mother in law house). But it's a historic home and it SHOULD be looked at by people. I would KILL for that library. No lie, kill. This house is worth every penny. BUY ME CoM! You know you MUST

And I swear some people just live to cut you down....I'm getting too old for this bullshit.

I'd actually love to go to Mexico to see some of the ancient ruins, but right now, with drug cartels and kidnappings and death...maybe not. At least Scotland is mostly harmless.

The one house is a bit like an outhouse. What an odd "contemporary" design. Snort. Gotta love the realtor's spin on that.

The Langley House is fantastic!

Well i would want to see it for the same reason...only not in the middle of summer and not with the cartels

Yeah realtors are creative that way

isn't it? Worth the asking price and then some

Once Upon a Time was one of those odd ducks ... Emily and I watched about six episodes, each time saying, "eh...it's okay...let's give it another week." Then, out of the blue: Boom! We were hooked, and it kept getting better in a fun soap-operaish type way, mostly thanks to the villains.

Now, Doctor Who, of course ... hooked from the moment Rose's alarm clock went off.

yeah see, I don't like soap operas. I watched the first year, was unimpressed with the acting by what's her name, the lady from House, and just gave up when I caught myself flipping to Simpson reruns during commerical breaks and NOT going back.

Chris Ecc's Doctor hooked me (in spite of Rose, in my case)

I didn't watch House, but I have a feeling I know which actor you're talking about. Luckily, most of the acting and the script got a lot better, although as I said it's the bad guys who kept me on board. It'll probably never be in my top five, though.

the detective/P.I. whatever she is, basically the lead. Well that's good to know though

I love that second house. The first house doesn't look worth the money on the inside, either. Hmph.

Yay for geeky students. :D

Yours. My body is reminding me today that anything other than a ranch might be very very unwise for me

You know how much I like my ups.

Yeah, Mom was telling me that one day, I'd want a ranch. I told her I was holding out as long as I could.
