But Summer wanted to remind us it's still here and won't die. SO HOT and HUMID (Okay it's not unseasonably hot by any means but the humidity is nearly 100%. Whines). And the A/C is broken in my classroom and the one above it. This is the class I'm in for 3 hours. Last year it had a major water issue. The room above it was subject to a brutal roof leak that ran like a water fall down the wall, thru the floor, the ceiling of my room and all down that wall to ruin the carpet.

It's mildew/mold city. I had such a severe reaction (I'm allergic) I had to get my inhaler. SO I report it to the nursing secretary and she told me our chief operating officer told her and other nursing instructors who complained that there was NO mold. Bullshit. I'm very very allergic to mold/mildew so is the prof who teaches in the room above me (I'm in that room next semester). Well guess what Mr. COO, you just told a biologist and a medical doctor, both who are allergic, there's no mold. You DO know we have all the necessary ingredients/equipment to plate out the mold, grow in the lab and prove it, right? Goes to get me some agar...

And in less than 12 hours after I moved my tomatoes to a different spot (i.e out into yesterday's downpour) I had to move them again and they were nearly dead from the blistering sun. Poor things.

I am AMUSED by the fan girls on Adagio Teas. check it out here. All the slashiness boils over into their teas. Tony/Loki? I'm trying to picture that one. Boy would it be explosive. And I love how many people think Loki= marigold petals. Really? And he's spearmint...there's at least 3 with that in it. Also Adagio makes fantastic tea. I highly recommend them and I have meticulous records on the ones I've drank so if you want to know about any of the regular teas (I've tried some blends but they are pricey) ask.

I am addicted to forensic shows. This is not news. I had been catching glimpses of a new one Surviving Evil and I thought hmmm looks like Charisma Carpenter but never thought much of it. Saw it again, had the same thought and went 'didn't I hear she was attacked once?' Well it WAS Charisma. I'm not sure if she's the full time host or just hosting this premiere episode but it was about her attack by a serial rapist.

And speaking of TV, not to give out spoilers but I am amused at how many Dr. Who/Harry Potter actors are on Broadchurch

And for no reason have this link (Rain sent it to me) have a cute bat and a dragon-horse and animals on a trampoline.

Had a major sugar crash tonight...on top of the gastric paresis making me nauseous as hell. Eyes traitorous body.

The walls are cinder block so I'm not sure but I've no doubt it's in the carpet and ceiling tiles

yeesh. I haven't seen tea that high, but when it gets to be over $3.50 for boxed tea that isn't anything special (in my opinion), I'm not all that interested.

I've been loving Broadchurch. And yeah, I also noticed the casting. Of course, there's also the fact that they look like average people instead of models like on American TV.

I am enjoying Broadchurch a little more now (though am rolling my eyes at last week's inclusion of the unknown pedophile who just happens to be living there because it's so overdone).

I also appreciate their looks. I'm very tired of the 103 pound lady cop who flips muscle bound baddies around like they're made of feathers.
