Which I'll grant you hasn't been so awesome yet. Today I went to the Jackson Apple Festival...kinda. IN other words, I went to do laundry, forgot to bring my walking shoes and ended up only taking in the quilt show (because it was in the library), talked to some old lady quilters and told the librarian quilting with them about selling my novel. The old ladies were fine with the erotica. Librarian wants to do a book signing. I'm thinking not in this area, sorry but no.

I also took in the Apple Fest book sale at the library and stopped myself at 3. Actually they had very little fiction and most of that was Harlequin and with all due respect to the library, I'll get those when they get desperate and make it a dollar a bag so I'll have something to give Aunt S2 who loves them.

I picked up my bath rug to wash and put the new own down I got at BB&B on clearance, a pale blue fluff that's like a feather and the rug is memory foam. I'm sure it will get messed all the hell up in a day but it feels like walking on clouds. Kanda disagrees. It was like he was walking on ice or something. He did NOT want to step on it.

I'm a bit tired. I kept yawning my way thru the mantra meditation. Om Shreem Mahalakshmiyei namaha...a prayer for abundance. The way I did it, Lakshmi is going to sic the loan people back on me.

Also why is the low tonight hotter than the high yesterday? How does it go from 50 to 90 in a day?

Oh no! Troy is cutting his hair. well at least it’s for a great cause Well played, sir, well played. You'll still be lovely but I can't help being a bit angry over the fact your HAIR is insured for a million dollars when I couldn't even get my hands insured as a surgeon (well not at what I was being paid by the company I worked for).

It was...back when I could tolerate grease. I couldn't even eat a third of my fried okra that I made from scratch and I've been sick for 3 hours since I ate it. whines

Our cats didn't think much of the memory foam bathroom rug when we got ours, either. They adapted eventually.

And it's held up pretty well, through several washings! I've been very happy with it.

I want to see you signing your erotica book for all the quiltin' old ladies. :)

It was 102 today. It's supposed to drop into the 90's next week, with overnight lows going all the way to the 60's! YAY!

it's not like he doesn't walk all over my memory foam bed but yep, does not like that rug. Good to know thought. It's more the light fluffy nap that I'm worrying about looking ratty fast. Oh well it was cheap.
